To establish connections and develop human-material interaction through haptics, various adaptive mechanisms are built and tested.  Each mechanism embodies different types of touch and movements,
and achieves lively motions and interactions through its adaptability.
In these interactions, the material (different kinetic structures), rather than the human,
take the lead in initiating tactile exchanges.
